The Syrian War: What You’re Not Being Told

Take a look at this video, what do you think? We should really be debating this subject because events are quickly spiralling out of control and could turn sour for all of us, not just the ordinary people of the Middle East.
After you have watched it please come back to my blog and hit the comments button and share your thoughts. No opinion will be ignored or shown disrespect as we need honest and open discourse.

      • I know, Danny. Fingers crossed [or whatever summoning / prayers etc] we’re not entering WW3.

      • Why should the ones taking us there be concerned? They’ll be deep underground if the bombs start dropping.

      • True!

  2. Thanks for the reblog and for encouraging a dialogue about this. I hear people claim that 9-11 was “the chickens coming home to roost”…I disagree. When all of our chickens finally do return back to us, we’re likely to get flattened and lose far more than a few buildings. How many times can we repeat the pattern of placing-removing governments before someone steps up to knock us on our butts?

    I saw another video clip yesterday that was an old speech of Gaddafi’s; what he had to say about America’s use & disposal of foreign leaders was chilling – and spot on. Watching Assad chuckle during the speech as though it could never happen to him was just…bizarre. And again, I had to wonder how many times we can topple other countries before we’re the ones that get toppled.

    At the risk of sounding cliche, does the fall of Rome hold any meaning for people? Are we really so dense as to not see what is coming our way if we don’t drastically change courses and stop the war-mongering already? Ugh…just ugh. It’s like watching the mother of all train wrecks in slow motion and being totally powerless to stop it, isn’t it?

    • Absolutely. You know what I keep thinking? Now that we have finally questioned the crusade and turned away, for now, from striking Syria, will we become in America’s eyes part of the “Axis of evil”? Is Britain next for regime change? Is a moral adherence to international law really isolationism or will the crazy people running the US be the ones isolated when everyone else wakes up and says “You know what, we don’t like bullies!” Rome is a perfect comparison.

  3. Back in the days of our president Bush I said in the earliest of press releases on the “suspected” weapons of mass distruction, “Because of 9/11 this man is going to get us in a war come hell or high water! He wants someone to thump and he’s picked his victim, and no one is going to stop him.” And sure enough, he did. I pray to God it doesn’t happen again. I have always said, “Send our politicians off to fight these wars. I guarantee there would be far less of them.”.

  4. Before seeing the video I had responded to’An open letter on Syria….’ it reads;
    Armchair Generals. Yep its hard not to have an opinion when the news carries Syria as headline each evening. That the UN have taken boxes of evidence from the Damascus suburb to analyse suggests the evidence is not conclusive. All reports use the word alleged in reference to a chemical attack. The reports referred to intelligence sources in Israel. The picture is not crystal clear so any action taken by the US and France is based on this incomplete evidence. Any attack will have human casualties which will include civilians and further poison the rhetoric from all sides. The real question in all this is who has supplied the arms to sustain this conflict over two and a half years? The answer we already know but the beneficiaries no doubt are investors in stocks and shares in the Arms Industry. We have a distance to go us Human Beings.
    ‘The Syrian War’ blows the ‘Crusaders’ cover for what it is. A compelling argument for incarcerating the criminally insane, unfortunately they are our elected representatives. How did we get that so wrong?
