  1. I agree and disagree. I was once a staunch republican, wanted Oz to have its own head of state, but I’ve come to appreciate this separation of power. Elizabeth is playing that role wonderfully… Like a family matriarch who doesn’t interfere, but can, and that threat keeps the kids within reason in their games.

    • Yes, I suppose. I just get a bit pissed off with the sycophants who drool over these frankly weird inbreeds. I get queasy about all the people who don’t know where their next meal is coming from while they ride in gold coaches dripping with jewels paid for by us, and I don’t like being anybody’s subject. So if Australia wants them, please take them…but we’re keeping the jewellery! Hehehe

  2. Hi Dan just amazed at your output. I hope your contributing through your tax payments to upholding this treasured tradition. Maybe by treasured I mean the squirrel stash that Royalty possesses and still takes a wage from the public purse. Not to be unkind to a fellow human but Mrs Queen’s status is an anachronism and Britain needs to grow up. I fear the landlord in my local is much less kind towards royalty ” a bunch of syphilitic bastards”. Best wishes, Gerry

    • I don’t get why they are treated with such deference because of an accident of birth…it could have been me Gerry, god dammit it could have been me! What makes them so special? There is not one of them I couldn’t beat in a scrap – except perhaps Ann, she’s got one hell of a kick on her. Strange we don’t see her much anymore; perhaps she has completed her transformation into a horse?
